Drexel Furniture Company — founded in 1903 in Drexel, North Carolina — was one of the premier American furniture manufacturers of the mid-20th century. Their 1950s and 1960s production lines, particularly the 'Declaration' suite and the Edward Wormley-designed 'Precedent' collection, are the most collected.
